CeMAP 3® overview
It is important that Candidates taking CeMAP 3 have a strong and recent knowledge of CeMAP 2; hence the reason why it is done straight after CeMAP 2. This allows us to focus our training so that you can pass the exam at the first attempt; Our approach is to provide in-depth training across the whole syllabus, focussing on the learning outcomes necessary to achieve examination success.
You will gain a thorough understanding of all the critical areas of CeMAP 2 and how to apply them to the case study tests in CeMAP 3.
Module Overview
Assessment of Mortgage Advice Knowledge syllabus (Module 3)
The final knowledge assessment module requires you to apply the knowledge and understanding of modules one and two, by applying suitable mortgage solutions within the regulatory and ethical framework.

- Identify consumers needs and make suitable recommendations
- Understand the advice process, UK Finance industry and the different types of mortgage solutions
Exam delivered electronically
Examinations
The exam is computer based and consists of 60 multiple choice questions based on 6 case studies. You must answer 42 correctly to get a pass, 48 to get a merit and 54 to get a distinction.
2 hours are allowed to complete the CeMAP 3 exam.
Students must achieve a minimum of 70% in each unit. If students don’t gain 70% in any unit/s within a module they will have to re-sit.

Entry Qualifications
Participation in the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice programme does not have a requirement for any previous qualifications and is not subject to age restrictions. However in most cases to get employment people should be over 16 years of age.

I'm not sure if you remember me but I took the CeMAP course recently, CeMAP 1 in December and CeMAP 2&3 in February, and I wanted to personally thank you for your excellent tutoring without which I wouldn't have been able to pass the modules, which I have now done, I'm starting officially as a mortgage consultant on the 3rd June and am looking forward to a new chapter in my career.
